Ameliven (uh-mel-IH-ven) is a Water/Psychic-type Pokémon introduced in v1.0 of Horizon 'Mons. It is the evolution of Dawnian Combusken and the final evolution in the Dawnian Torchic line.

Ameliven is exceptional at stealth; its wing-like cloak allows it to hide in any dark area. Ameliven lacks any upper limbs, making it rely exclusively on its legs and psychic abilities. It sometimes conjures hand constructs with its psychic powers to perform ordinary tasks.

Ameliven evolves from Dawnian Combusken at Level 36. Ameliven does not evolve.

Ameliven can spawn in Taiga Biomes. If Terralith is installed, it can also spawn in Amethyst Canyon and Jungle Biomes. It is a Ultra-Rare spawn, and can spawn at level 36-51.

• Along with the Dawnian Mudkip and Dawnian Treecko line, Ameliven and its line are the oldest Pokémon in Horizon 'Mons, being conceived on December 5, 2022.

Ameliven is based on ninjas first and foremost. It is meant to be the opposite of Blaziken. Where Blaziken is bold and brash, Ameliven is subtle and strikes only when necessary from the shadows. Ameliven's gem placed above its head is meant to resemble a chonmage. **Ameliven's mask is also a nod to Beta Torchic.

**Ameliven is a combination of the words amelic and raven.
