Queentana (Kween-Tah-Nuh) is a Steel/Fairy-type Pokémon introduced in v1.0 of Horizon 'Mons. It is an evolution of Pawniard.

Legend has it that the first Queentana were female Pawniard's who joined forces after mistreatment from their Kingambit. Even with a small army, Queentana formulates and executes brutal strategies for decisive victories. This Pokémon is often seen poaching Pawniard from rival Kingambit.

Queentana evolves from Pawniard after defeating a Kingambit.

Queentana can spawn in Bamboo Biomes. It is a Rare spawn, and can spawn at level 40-78.

Queentana possesses the Signature Move Matriarch Carve.

• Queentana was the first-ever Pokémon in the pack to receive a redesign.
• Despite the name implying a female; just like Kingambit, Queentana can be the opposite gender as well.

Queentana is based on the concept of a queen chess piece. It is meant to be a rival to Kingambit and is influenced by matriarchs. As for more direct references, Queentana was designed with Malenia from Elden Ring in mind. Queentana was also designed to be more active than Kingambit, whereas Kingambit sits and shouts orders, Queentana takes a more active stance in a battle.

Queentana is a combination of the words queen and katana.
